If you’ve been using Snapchat for a time, you’ve most likely built up a sizable contact list. The problem is that there’s no easy way to find out how many there are. Unlike other social networking networks, figuring out how to check how many people you have on Snapchat requires some ingenuity.
I’ll show you how to find out how many Snapchat friends you have in this tutorial. If you’ve recently visited Snapchat’s friends section, you’ll notice that the app no longer displays the number of people on your list. If you’re inquisitive or just want to double-check how many people you’ve added, this can be a bit inconvenient. Nobody wants to have to go through the process of counting them out one by one.
Despite this setback, there is still a method to find the truth.
Step 1.Go to the Snap Map in the first step.
Go to the Snap Map to get started. Click on the location symbol in the lower left-hand corner to see the Snap Map as of August 2020:
Then navigate to the Snap Map Settings page. To do so, go to the upper right-hand corner and click on the cog icon:
The Snap Map Settings page will appear when you’ve clicked on this “cog” button.
Step 2: click “Only These Friends…” from the drop-down menu that appears.
You may control who can view your Snap Map location by going to the settings page. This option is probably set to “Ghost Mode” or “My Friends” by default. However, you must temporarily alter it to the “Only These Friends…” setting for this method to work:
A new page will show when you select this option. This page contains a list of all of your Snapchat friends, including Best Friends and “Recents.”
Then, on the right, scroll down to the “All Friends” section and click the blue “Select All” option:
A blue tick mark will display beside all of your friends once you click the “Select All” button:
To save your settings, scroll down and click the blue Done button once everyone on your friend list has been selected.
As a result, all of your Snapchat friends’ names will now appear in the “Only These Friends…” section:
We’re simply “tricking” the app into thinking we’ve selected a specific list of people who can view our Snap Map location by doing this. In truth, we’ve hand-selected EVERYONE of our friends.
Step 3: check up your number of Snapchat friends.
You can now return to your main Snapchat profile after successfully changing your location settings. After you’ve loaded your profile, scroll down to the Snap Map section:
Snapchat will inform you how many friends you’ve shared your location with at the bottom of the screen. However, we selected ALL of our friends on purpose in our circumstance. As a result, we can fairly assume that this figure likewise represents the number of people on our contact list. In my situation, I had 180 Snapchat friends, as you can see.
That’s the end of the story! After you’ve determined how many friends you have, simply return to the Snap Map settings and restore your old location settings. Hopefully, this information has piqued your interest.
